I am Neeltje, visual artist of Dutch origin.

I look at nature with awe. How she takes perfect care of herself with literally seasoned collaboration pacts and utterly refined communication networks. As a matter of course all is layered. Neither of us and nothing we experience stands on its own. Nature or nurture, both still are the result of us being part of other lives. Before us, around us and hopefully after us. How poorly we are often aware of both our responsibility and dependency of the whole. Why do we deny its complexity when it is definitely diversity that makes the world go round?

I think my work reflects this. My awe of the natural world, my appreciation for its wonderful variety, my fascination for how all is connected and also my doubts and my fears about where we are heading. It is both struggle and bliss. I truly hope you experience some of this bliss while browsing my work.
